Job Loss

Hey guys, I’m not trying to start any debates I could just use some advice. I have a family of 5 plus two dogs. I recently graduated x-ray school in May and now may be losing my job due to mandates. I’ve filed for an exemption and waiting to see if it’s approved. I’ve had this really strong urge to start stockpiling enough supplies to offset my income while out of work if my exemption is declined. I figured if I stockpile it now, it will save us money with the rising cost of everything. I’m not against going out and getting another job, but due to my degree field, I won’t have very many options. I’m considering starting a business but that’s another topic. Besides food and toiletries, what loose ends would you tie up before a potential job Loss? Thanks for any help.
